Good Friday

My brothers and sisters in Christ. Today is Good Friday. It’s called Good Friday for us. Good for us painful for Jesus. Today marks the beginning of why we are saved. After an illegal trial from the Jewish leaders, Jesus was put to death on this Friday by the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. Jesus an innocent sinless man who went to the cross as our blood sacrifice, as the unblemished lamb who bore all our sins for us so that we would not perish but have eternal life with him John 3:16. But not to worry. After his death, as he promised, he came back to earth, (resurrected), and made himself known again to hundreds before ascending into heaven until he comes back again.

Stay prepared my brothers and sisters. He will be back, but no one knows the hour nor the day except the Father in heaven. Matthew 24:36.  Remember, we are not of this world, but Citizens of Heaven.
